Location:
Ghana is located between countries Togo and Cote d' Ivoire, and borders the Gulf of Guinea. Located in the Atlantic ocean.
Size:With and a total of 238,533 sq km, Ghana is about 2.9 times smaller than the United States. According to the CIA, with a population of 25,199,609, as of July 2013 {1}, Ghana's population had increased a little over 96 hundred thousand in the past 3 years {2}. Though Ghana looks like one of the smaller countries, sq km wise, it is listed as the 12th most populated country in the continent of Africa {3}.
Terrain:
Ghana's terrain consist of on going plains, and some plateaus in the southern region. Bordering Ghana, is the Gold Coast, consisting of the Gulf of Guinea, and just below that, lies the North Atlantic Ocean. With Lake Volta being the major lake in Ghana, it doesn't have much freshwater lakes to get water from.

It is very interesting that Ghana is such a small country but had such a big population!
