Climate

What climate types exist in your country?
*Tropical; warm and comparatively dry along south east coast , but in the northern Ghana, two rainy seasons occur, from April to July and from September to November. Annual rainfall ranges from about 1,100 mm (about 43 in) in the north to about 2,100 mm (about 83 in) in the southeast.
*Hot and humid in southwest
*Hot and dry in the north, especially during Harmattan, a desert wind, blows northeast during December to March. This causes hot days and cold nights (Ghana).

How uniform is the climate across the country
"During summer in the northern hemisphere, a warm and moist maritime air mass intensifies and pushes northward across the country. A low-pressure belt, or intertropical front, in the air mass brings warm air, rain, and prevailing winds from the southwest. As the sun returns south across the equator, the dry, dusty, tropical continental front, or harmattan, prevails.  During summer in the northern hemisphere, a warm and moist maritime air mass intensifies and pushes northward across the country. Seasonality

What is the annual range of temperature and precipitation for two cities in your country?
The annual range of temperature for
Kumasi is... 3.2 degrees Celsius
Accra is...3.5 degrees Celsius
The annual range of precipitation for
Kumasi is...3.5 mm
Accra is... 184.1 mm

How does the annual temperature and precipitation for a city in your country compare to Denver?
Kumasi (3.2 Celsius) v.s Denver (22 Celsius)
Denver's temperatures averaged higher than Kumasi's temperatures
Accra (3.5) v.s Denver (22 Celsius)
Again, Denver's temperatures are higher annually again

Percipiation
Kumasi (3.5 mm) v.s Denver (45 mm)
Denver seems to have more precipitation than Kumasi does, especially in May
Accra (184.1 mm) v.s Denver (45 mm)
Accra seems to have way more precipitation than Denver does

Do these cities in your country experience large or small seasonality?
"In Ghana, four separate seasons occur. Heavy rains fall from about April through late June. After a relatively short dry period in August, another rainy season begins in September and lasts through November, before the longer harmattan season sets in to complete the cycle" (Ghana Climate).
